Context
The SensLab platform is a large scale open sensor network platform. The main and most important goal of SensLab is to offer an accurate and efficient scientific tool to help and foster the design, development, tuning, and experimentation of real large scale sensor network applications. Lille testbed is set up inside the INRIA/POPS project. The platform is composed of 256 WSN430 nodes and will use the TI CC2420 RF component. But, contrarily to every other platforms, some nodes will be mobile. Among the 256 sensors, 32 are mobile.
Mission/Activities
The engineer will be in charge of the maintenance and extension of the platform both at software and hardware levels. Maintenance will consist in the regular check in of the proper working of services and hardware nodes. Extension will consist in adding new functionalities for users and in integrating new hardware nodes.
